Walter P. Moore and Associates, Inc. has an opening for an Engineer – Water Resources in Houston, Texas.

Job Duties: Perform Hydrologic and Hydraulic analyses using appropriate software, prepare technical reports, and assist Project Managers with project planning, scheduling, co-ordination, finances and delivery. Supervisory assistance is provided on unusual problems and possible solutions. Exercise judgment in the independent evaluation, selection, and substantial adaptation and modification of standard techniques, procedures, and criteria. Work with a team of engineers in the performance of H&H related projects. Work with the Water Resources Engineering team to identify and pursue opportunities. Application of standard techniques, procedures, and criteria in carrying out routine engineering tasks under supervision of one or more licensed engineer/Supervisory assistance is provided on unusual problems and possible solutions. May telecommute. 

Requirements: Employer will accept a Master's degree in Civil Engineering with emphasis in hydrology/hydraulics, water resources or related field and 3 years of experience in the job offered or in a related occupation. Must have some education or experience in the following: 1) Technical proficiency in hydrologic and hydraulic analysis; 2) HEC-HMS, HEC-RAS, SWMM based programs, HY8; 3) GIS software; 4) Technical Writing; 5) Project Management; 6) Client Management and 7) Conference Speaker/Presenter.

Licenses Required: PE License.
