Water Treatment / Water Hygiene Engineer, £Depends on experience

Are you a Water Treatment / Water Hygiene Engineer who is seeking a fresh challenge / career opportunity?

Due to up and coming requirements we are now keen to hear from experienced Water Treatment and Water Hygiene Engineers based throughout the UK.

You will need to have prior experience in:

• Carrying out water sampling and temperature monitoring across a range of sites.
• Service, maintain, and test TMVs.
• Complete showerhead cleans, descales, and routine water hygiene tasks.
• Undertake cold water storage tank inspections, cleans, and disinfections.
• Carry out cleaning and disinfection works on water systems where required.
• Support cooling tower cleaning, disinfection, testing, and analysis.
• Carry out closed-system testing, analysis, dosing, and remedial works.
• Service water softeners and support associated plant maintenance.
• Complete basic plumbing remedial works where necessary.
• Maintain accurate site logbooks, reports, compliance records, and documentation.
• Ensure all work is completed in line with current legislation, guidance, and company procedures.

Requirements / Qualifications

• Previous experience in water treatment, water hygiene, plumbing, or building maintenance.
• Experience carrying out water sampling, temperature monitoring, and compliance checks.
• TMV servicing experience would be advantageous.
• Knowledge of cleaning, disinfection, and water system remediation works.
• Understanding of relevant legislation and guidance, including ACOP L8.
• City & Guilds Plumbing Level 2 or equivalent is desirable.
• Water treatment, legionella control, or similar industry qualifications would be beneficial.
• Good communication, organisation, and customer service skills.
• Ability to complete accurate documentation, reports, and site logbooks.
• Full UK driving licence.
• You must currently reside in the United Kingdom and have full leave to remain. Please note that sponsorship is not available, either now or in the future.
